Any company who has successfully passed the third-party audit and executed the U.S. Hemp Authority® Licensing Agreement and paid the Licensing Fee may use the Seal during that certified year. Companies currently include Growers, Processors/Manufacturers, and Brand Owners.
What if my Company is Vertically Integrated?
Vertically integrated companies who are verified to meet U.S. Hemp Authority® Certification standards and have executed the U.S. Hemp Authority® Licensing Agreement and paid the Licensing Fee may use the “Certified” Seal on their labels, website, marketing materials, invoices, and letterhead. Separate physical audit inspections must be conducted for each farm and facility within the vertically integrated operation.

Perry Johnson Registrars is the administrator for the certification program and is known for providing the highest levels of service.
How much does the U.S. Hemp Authority® Certification Program cost?
INSPECTION FEES
On-Site Inspection (8 hours): $2,500 per facility
*Daily rate based on average inspection time not including travel time and expenses
OR
Desk Audit (4 hours) (review current, third-party audits) (e.g., cGMP, BRCGS, etc.): $1,250 per facility
*Complete reports from accredited certification body required for desk audit, including observations and action plans. On-site inspection may still be required for desk audit, including observation and action plans. On-site inspection may still be required if information provided is insufficient.

Oilseed & Fiber Varieties:
Farms Under 100 Acres: $275
Farms 100+ Acres: $825
*If the farm produces extract varieties along with oilseed and/or fiber varieties, only the extract varieties fee will be charged
Processor/Manufacturer & Brand Owner
Up to 5 Products: $3,300
Next 6-25: $275 per product
Next 26-50: $225 per product
Next 51+: $110 per product
BRAND OWNER DESK AUDIT FEE
Per brand: $725
