What’s the difference between the new Adult Certification program and the program that has been running for several years?
Both the new and the classic certification programs use the same quality control standards found here. The classic program features the old seal and does not permit certification of products that may cause impairment. The adult program features a new 21+ seal and a list of additional protections for products that may be impair, including meaningful age restrictions.

Pricing is identical for the “Classic” non-intoxicating program and the “Adult” program.
For those applicants seeking both seals – i.e., the “classic” for their non-intoxicating products and the “adult” for their delta-8 and/or delta 9 THC products – one audit and its corresponding fees will cover all products, and the licensing fee schedule will apply to all products combined. For example, a company that is looking to add the “classic” seal to 5 of its CBD SKUs and the “adult” seal to 5 of its delta-9 THC SKUs would pay the same licensing fees as someone who is applying for the “classic” seal for 10 CBD SKUs: =$4,000
